Evolution Turn-Ins

As stated before, evolution to Baby II and Child is totally free, with no turn in necessary.
For evolution to the Adult level, we require you be in the game for a total of two weeks, your character's Digimon partner to have reached the Child level, for you to provide a proof activity consisting of one thread with five comments, and one thread portraying your character and their partner having exhibited or strengthened their bond with one another. The last requirement may be in a thread setting up said evolution, if you prefer, as long as it meets the requirement.
Conditions for evolution to Perfect and Ultimate will be laid out at a later date.

[ RULES ]
➤ Don't be rude!
Self-explanatory, don't be a jerk to fellow players and respect ooc boundaries when asked or presented. If you're asked to not tag someone, then don't go around this and continue tagging them.
This also applies to going behind mod and player requests by going around under another alias to continue tagging when asked not to. If you are caught doing this, it may result in a ban.
Up to three warnings/strikes will be given for a system of fairness. Mistakes happen and can be learned from, but these should never become a pattern.
➤ Communicate!
Communicate with your fellow players and mods! If you have an issue, don't hesitate to contact the other player. Or the mods here on the mod contact page if you feel uncomfortable confronting the player themselves.
➤ IC ≠ OOC!
Remember, no player is their character.
Keep that in mind, players don't condone any of the potentially heinous acts their characters may have committed. Same goes for the character's mindset or mentality. Roleplay is for creative writing, not a peek into a player's life or their personal values.
➤ Stay IC!
While we do understand that a game can alter a character's views or personality over the course of a game, it should not alter them to the point where they are unrecognizable from canon itself. Development is encouraged, but bear in mind that not everything will change who they are and how they behave in the setting.
➤ Stay active!
Remain active and interact with other characters. There is no activity check, but we will be expecting some level of activity.
Only claim and play the number of characters you think you'll be able to handle and not squat on other characters that others may want to play and be active with.
If you need to take a hiatus, for whatever reason, make sure you put a comment here. Life happens, we understand.
➤ Don't ignore your Digimon partner!
Your Digimon partner is an essential part of this game, and as such ignoring them is not something you should be doing the entire game. They don't need to be part of every tag or thread you do, but they should contribute in some way or another here. If you're going to ignore your Digimon partner the entire game, then this game likely is not for you.
➤ Harassment and bigotry will not be tolerated!
This should go without saying, but targeted harassment of any member of this community will not be tolerated. Furthermore, nor will any bigotry based on race, religion, beliefs, or anything else. Breaking this rule will result in an immediate strike, and if especially heinous, immediate expulsion.
➤ Don't be afraid to ask questions!
Although not a rule, questions are always welcomed if you're unsure about things.
APPLICATION

Apps are currently OPEN indefinitely. You may app a maximum of two characters per month. Applications are processed over the weekend.
The following is a list of categories for the application to Tamer Union and an explanation of what we want from each one. Applications themselves will be screened.
OOC Information
Name: The handle you wish to go by.
Contact: Plurk, Discord, whatever you wish to share.
Player Age: List your age. All players must be at least 18 years old.
Other Characters: List any other characters you play here, so we can add to appropriate lists and avoid giving them both the same Digimon.
Character Information
Character Name: List your character's name.
Age: List your character's age. If no age is known, give a rough estimate. If you'd prefer to use an age from a headcanon or CRAU, please note where it comes from and your reasons for it.
Canon: For canon characters only. List your character's canon.
Canon Point: For canon characters only. List the canon point your character is being taken from. This can be as simple as "After season X" or "after x arc" or so on. If you're taking a character from a CRAU, please note the last canon point your character comes from and note the CRAU.
World Information: For original characters only. Give a description of the world your character comes from. This should be detailed enough to give us an understanding of the world your character comes from and how it has affected the way your character acts.
Character Information:
Personality: The most important part of the application. Give us at least three paragraphs of information on your character, the way they act, why they act that way, and so on. If need be, use examples from canon to reinforce your points. This section will be taken into account if you decide to have the mods choose your Digimon partner.
Abilities: List your character's abilities here. A link to a wiki is fine, but if you don't have one, please write them out here. Keep in mind your character's powers will be nerfed down to the strength level of their partner's highest evolutionary form while playing in the game, and that mods may request revisions to nerf or disable certain game-breaking abilities. This section will be taken into account if you decide to have the mods choose your Digimon partner.
Items: List three personal items your character is bringing with them. Please note that this does not include items or equipment related to abilities. These items come over automatically.
Digimon:
Digimon Partner: Have you already chosen your character's Digimon partner? List each one of your forms that you've decided upon here, from Baby to Child Level. If instead you've chosen to let the mods choose a Digimon for you, or you have a Digimon in mind and need help coming up with an evolution line, please say so here. You do not need to decide their evolved stages now and you can choose them as you earn them in game.
Personality: Write a short personality description for your Digimon here. If you've decided to have the mods choose a Digimon for you, mark this section not applicable.
If you've chosen your partner in full already, you are done. If you have decided to have the mods choose a Digimon or evolution line for you, continue.
What kind of partner do you want?: Do you want a partner that complements your character, or one that contrasts? What kind of personality do you want them to have? Would you prefer your partner have a cohesive line, or one that's completely random? We'll do our best to come up with a partner with a personality and brief history that suits your tastes. If there's anything you DON'T want, please note that as well. Please note that you'll be allowed to reroll if our proposed line is not to your liking. This can also be used if you need help coming up with an evolution line.
Traits: List five character traits that can be used to help with partner selection. These can be anything, from simple one word character points to motifs or prominent features that they exhibit.
Samples:
You may do one of the following.
Roleplay Sample: A third person (prose or in brackets) sample that should include at least ten sentences and include at least three lines of dialogue. If you'd like to use a test drive sample, it must be at least five comments long and meet the above requirements. Threads from other games, museboxes, or memes may be used as well, provided they meet the requirements. Threads must also be from within the last year. Threads from Texts From Last Night-style memes will not be accepted.
Questionnaire: Have your character answer the following five questions, in character. Answers must be in-character.
This is the application for characters who originate from Digimon canons who are Digimon (examples: Wizarmon or Leomon from Adventure, any of the evil warriors from Frontier, etc.)
[ Premise ]
Surely you've noticed it. Strange distortions plaguing your world. Weather that's out of season. Events that border on the inexplicable. Ominous signs that lead to a rising, uncomfortable feeling, that your world is somehow in danger.
That danger is very real.
In a few days time, the confirmation comes. A message appears, in a window like on a computer screen come to life. It asks you a simple question: "Do you want to save your world: YES/NO?"
You could answer no, and face this danger alone. But something compels you to say yes, as a voice suddenly cries out that it's waiting for you. Resolute, you take your hand, and press it against the "screen" to answer "Yes".
And that's when the gate opens, pulling you in and beginning the adventure of a lifetime. You fall through a void that gives way to masses of 1's and 0's, before a world around you finally begins to take shape.
You find yourself with two beings; one, a small machine with a glass dome for his head, and the other a sort of plant dragon with a flower for a face. Together, they explain to you that you've been brought to the Digital World, and that you've been called on to become a Digimon Tamer.
They introduce you to other creatures like them, called "Digimon", including one that is to be your partner. Your adventure with a Digimon henceforth begins. You are now part... of Tamer Union.
Tamer Union is a panfandom roleplaying musebox, where your character embarks on a new adventure in the Digital World alongside your Digimon Partner. Trials, tribulations, danger, and new friendships await you on this journey to another world!
